Anti-Fouling

Shipshape provide a surface preparation and antifoul application service. All rough edges are feathered and the surface is sanded and cleaned prior to antifoul application.

The number of coats required is dependent on the type of antifoul and general use of your vessel. For general sailing and cruising under 20 knots we would recommend an eroding antifoul to prevent build up of layers. For cruising over 20 knots, a hard antifoul would be more suitable, and for racing, an ultra smooth Teflon antifoul may be the solution.
